Ambrose’s Red Ribbon Week Word of the Month for October: Self-Direct To promote student awareness, we have the following dress-up days planned for Red Ribbon Week, October 27-31: Monday: “We have the POWER to SAY NO TO DRUGS!” (Students wear Disney or Superhero attire.) Tuesday: “We are WILD about being Drug Free.” (Students wear Animal Print or CAMO.) Wednesday: “I’m Too BRIGHT for Drugs.” (Students will wear NEON Colors) Thursday: “TEAM up against Drugs.” (Students wear their favorite team jersey/shirt.) Friday: “Say BOO to Drugs!” (Students will wear Halloween Costumes) Picture Retakes October 9 October 29 @ 5:30 There will be lots of FUN and TREATS OCTOBER 2025 Important Days IMPORTANT DATES Spooky Science Night Gifted Testing will be conducted in February 2026. Students in grades K-8 can be nominated for consideration for testing by the parent or guardian. The deadline for nomination is November 20, 2025. Nomination does not guarantee the student will be tested. All available data will be studied for each student in the preliminary selection pool by the school’s Gifted Eligibility Team. The team will make the decision to move forward with formal testing or stop the process.
